Meet Dr. Ute Collins
Ute J. Collins, DDS
It means a lot to me that patients trust me with their dental care, and it is something that I take very seriously. I love what I do, and the relationships I’ve made here at Mountain View Dental Center. Meeting so many unique and interesting patients really opens my eyes to all of the diversity in the world. We are all human beings and are so alike, yet so different. I enjoy interacting with patients of all ages and helping them achieve optimum dental health.
Education and Experience
I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and received my bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington in 2000. After graduating, I served in the Air Force and was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, for three years, with an additional year on a remote assignment to South Korea. I enjoy being involved with the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education and attending their training courses. I am also a Spear Study Club leader, which brings together local general dentists and specialists for advanced dental education.

Outside the Office
My husband and practice partner, Charlie, and I live in Anacortes with our Springer Spaniel Dory. I enjoy living life to the fullest, whether I’m hiking, going to spin or bootcamp class, cooking, or wine tasting. It’s important to have a positive attitude each and every day.
I am dedicated to the greater Fidalgo Island community, both professionally in my practice and personally.
